On the 7th October 2015 The Hospital Saturday Fund held its Association meeting in London, awarding 8 charities a total of £26,000.
The Hospital Saturday Fund were honoured to welcome Dr John Chatterjee, from London’s Air Ambulance, who received a donation of £5,000.
John is a major incident medical advisor with a specialist interest in difficult airway and major incident management. He told us about the important and
ground breaking work of the Institute of Pre- Hospital Care at London’s Air Ambulance, which creates a world class training institute to educate the
next generation of trauma doctors.
Additional donations of £3,000 were also presented to Antony Nolan, Ataxia, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Maggie’s Centres, Shooting Star Chase,
Sickle Cell and Young Stroke Survivors and Woking and Sam Beare Hospices towards their great work.
